2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
This website only collects and processes personal data to the extent necessary to provide the website and its contents.
Server Log Files: When you visit this website, information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser transmits. This includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days.
Contact: When you contact us via e-mail, the transmitted data (name, e-mail address, message) is stored for the purpose of processing your request. This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
HKP Check: Data entered in the HKP Check is used exclusively for creating the scientific report and is not stored. Processing is performed locally in your browser.

5. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-Y1MVH399LN), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google"). GA4 is only activated with your explicit consent (Consent Mode v2, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
IP address: GA4 does not collect full IP addresses. The IP address is automatically truncated before transmission to Google. Individual identification is therefore not possible.

8. Storage Duration and Retention Periods
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law:
- Server Log Files: automatic deletion after 7 days

- Contact Inquiries via E-mail: deletion after completion of communication, at latest after 3 years
- Cookie Consent (localStorage): until manual deletion or withdrawal

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognizable by "https://" in the address bar). Data you transmit to us is not readable by third parties. The Institute takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
